Brew and Breakfast is a coffee bar themed homestay. While it was super easy to find great food in Ho Chi Minh City, it was a little more difficult to find vegan food in Da Lat. I came to Brew and Breakfast because I was looking for reasonably priced vegan food in Da Lat without mock meat.
Nick and Briana are a lovely couple who founded Brew and Breakfast after living in Vietnam for three years. They are incredibly sweet and have a really good thing going with Brew and Breakfast. If you are in need of great vegan coffee, a room or fabulous vegan food in Da Lat, make sure to hit them up.
Brew and Breakfast is an incredibly cozy place. It just felt like sitting in my friends living room, it’s so homey! Nick and Briana are also around most of the time and always up for a chat. They’ve got a really interesting story and have been around Vietnam, so if you need any advice, go ask them. Lots of their interior is made from reclaimed wood and the whole space was created with the help of heaps of volunteers. It’s a truly beautiful thing!
I was looking for healthy vegan food in Da Lat and that’s exactly what I found at Brew and Breakfast. They serve both breakfast and lunch and you can get food until roughly 4 PM. They also offer heaps of coffee, smoothies, tea, cocktails, and beer. Most of their mains are around 50,000 VND and their non-alcoholic drinks are between 30,000 and 60,000 VND. Have a look at their menu here. Isn’t it amazing?!
What I ate
I loved the food so much the first time around that I ended up going back. My man loved the Tofu scramble on toast for 45,000 VND and my favorite would have to be the Peanut butter and banana smoothie for 50,000 VND. It’s one of the best ones I ever had! I also tried the Mixed vegetable fried noodles for 50,000 VND as well as the Roasted vegetable wrap for 50,000 VND and loved it!
If you are looking for reasonably priced vegan food in Da Lat, then make sure to stop by at Brew and Breakfast. Nick and Briana have got a wonderful thing going that’s totally worth supporting! If you want to learn more about their space and what they are up to check out their website and Instagram 🙂
