Edgy Veggy is currently my favorite vegan restaurant in Sofia, Bulgaria. Edgy Veggy is a super low-key spot offering vegan burgers, wraps, smoothie bowls, desserts and heaps more.
They have heaps of reviews on Happy Cow and people (including me) are raving about Edgy Veggy on Facebook.
Everything on their menu is between Лв 5 and 8 and Edgy Veggy’s portion sizes are generous. The downside? Edgy Veggy has limited seating and it’s, therefore, more of a take-out spot than a dine-in place.
The atmosphere
The atmosphere at Edgy Veggy is super low-key, which I personally absolutely love. They have a great selection of books in English and two bulletin boards with photos, charts, and information about veganism.
The restaurant
As previously mentioned, seating is limited. However, as you can see on the below photo, there is seating available. It’s really just a matter of how many people dine out as opposed to getting take-out.
When I went with to of my loved one’s on a Saturday none of the seats were taken and most people seemed to be getting take-out.
The food
Let’s just say that the food is freakin’ incredible! I am a lover of wraps and the minute I saw Edgy Veggy’s menu I knew this is my place.
They have a small, but very well put together menu and offer heaps of wraps, burgers, smoothie bowls and heaps more.
Each of us ended up ordering something different and we all loved the food! Simple, nutritious and delicious food – we couldn’t have asked for more!
If you are looking for a low-key spot to grab some delicious vegan food, then Edgy Veggy is your place!
