I decided to share my experience and photos of staying at Yellow House Guest House in Arambol, Goa, India because I really enjoyed staying there. The owners were incredibly lovely, really attentive, the internet was great, it’s super close to the beach and there are shops within walking distance.
After looking at a handful of guest houses and heaps of asking around I stumbled upon this cute little guest house in Arambol, Goa. Yellow House Guest House in Arambol, Goa, is located near Famafa Hotel Khalchawada Arambol Pernem Goa, Arambol, Goa 403524 and has 5+ rooms.
The building is tucked away from the main road, which makes it a really quiet space. I hardly ever heard the sounds of motorbikes. It doesn’t get overly hot due to the whole building being surrounded by trees and there was always a nice breeze.
The main building features two levels and on both levels are chairs and tables for lounging around outside. I really loved how spacious the balcony was and greatly enjoyed hanging out outside, just listening to nature.
My babe and I decided to stay at Yellow House Guesthouse in Arambol, because, unlike at other places we looked at, the wifi was great and good enough to upload photos and YouTube videos, which was really important to me. That being said, the wifi did go out a couple of times, for extended periods (hours) however, when it was on it was working great!
We ended up getting a basic room on the upper level for 500 ₹ per night for the two of us. Payment needs to be made in cash and, as of March 2018, rooms can only be booked in person, and not online. The room came equipped with two tables, two chairs, a bed, and bathroom. At our previous place we had a mosquito net and so we ended up asking for one and had one the same day.
There was a sink and a little mirror outside of the bathroom, which I really liked. The bathroom itself was super basic and had everything you needed: shower and toilet.
If you are thinking of visiting Goa, make sure to stop by the Yellow House Guest House, it’s a great little place! 🙂
